Jun Wei Zhen is a political independent and a career data analyst actively serving as an Assistant Comptroller in New York City, creating maximum efficiency, fostering innovation, and providing a strategic edge through his technical and strategic expertise. He previously served as the Chief of Staff of the great State of New York's Unit 2 in 2020.

Born in Fuzhou, China, Jun Wei immigrated to the United States when he was six years old. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School at the top of his class.

Jun Wei earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Baruch College.
